This evening I took Julia and Austin for a walk. Actually the walk was really for my own selfish reasons - I wanted to capture Iowa's Spring. And, they both fell asleep so I really did feel like it was MY time, even though I was still touting two kids along the way. I love Spring. The colors are so vibrant and the fragrances are so calming and at the same time invigorating. I wish I could capture the smells of Spring in a bottle. There's nothing better than the smells of flowering trees and fresh cut grass. And somehow it's always accompanied by a breeze that wraps the fragrances around you, comforting you, and promising you that warmer weather is coming. Isn't it beautiful? I'll miss this scenery once we move. I loved it in Kentucky and I have loved it in Iowa. I hope Idaho's Spring comes with such splendor.

Oh what beautiful pictues. You have captured some of Iowa's amazing spring beauty. I was afraid we weren't going to get a spring. I thought spring was supposed to come in March or April. But I'll take it, even if it is in May!
Hmm, such love of Iowa makes me think you should stay!
