Austin is 15 months!

On Sunday Layne and I commented to each other, almost simultaneously once we got home from church, "Only 3 more months." Yes, only three more months and Austin will be in Nursery. He is very unlike Julia was at this age. She'd sit very quietly on our lap and look at books and was easily entertained, while sitting on our laps. Not the case with Austin. He's a busy body and goes, goes, goes. Church is not exempt from his "going" behavior. Although he's a very good boy, he is not content with sitting. He doesn't care one bit for books. And he must move from one entertainment to the next within a couple of minutes.

Oh, how we love our boy though. He is an entertainer. He knows he's funny and can always get a laugh from us. He loves putting things on his head. His food usually ends up on top instead of inside (guess that would explain the whole under 10th percentile thing).

He is so laid back. Even when Julia is dumping water over his head in the tub, he doesn't seem to mind.He likes to get into things: trouble, drawers, and Julia's toys. He's a whole lot of fun, even with only three more months till Nursery.

Sounds like Rebekah. She is just starting to like books more, but ONLY if we read really fast and let her turn all the pages. :) Usually she only lasts through one or two board books. :) Church is an adventure for us as well with a busy body. He is such a doll face little boy. I can hardly believe he is already 15 months old!

Austin sounds so much like Bella! Last Sunday was Bella's firs time in nursery. It was a great day! Good luck with the next 3 months.

That makes me feel better. I always wondered how the heck you got Julia to sit like an angel during church, while our devil made us go into the foyer each week. Nice to know it's good parenting AND the kids personality :)
