March Madness

It's a family tradition in our home that every year we fill out our NCAA bracket and then anticipate with competitiveness the final score of every game. The past four years I have won, but this year it's not looking too hot. I am still ahead, by one win, but the final outcome doesn't look pretty.

I don't know why they call it "March" Madness anyway, because it doesn't even finish until the end of the first week in April. Those in charge should really just start it a week earlier in March so then it truly would be a March main event. Before the games began I kept nagging at Layne to get the brackets printed and find out when the first games started, only to be disappointed that I still had to wait for two more weeks.

Even Julia filled out a bracket (Layne and I helped:), and she got into it as well, sitting on Dad's lap watching a game.
